K7 Waterplug is a hydraulic cement material that is mixed with clean, potable water to produce an extremely rapid setting plug. It is inserted into prepared areas to stop leaks under pressure. It is ideal for sealing around pipes and conduits, and for setting anchor bolts and railings. It is non-corrosive and produces extremely high strengths.
1) Simple to use – Just add clean, potable water. 2) Stops leaks in approximately 1 minute 3) Fills holes & cracks in floors and walls, etc. 4) Excellent freeze-thaw resistance 5) Nonmetallic 6) High early strength
APPLICATION 1) Cut out the area to be plugged to minimum depth and width of 1″. Clean with high pressure water blast to remove oil, grease, loose mortar, paints, coatings, etc. 2) To mix, add enough clean water to Waterplug to make putty consistency. (3:1 cement/water ratio) 3) Work putty between hands, into a ball-shaped mass until it begins to stiffen. 4) Force Waterplug into opening with hand or trowel. Hold for approximately 1 minute or until material has set.
COVERAGE Approximately 17 cu. inches per lb. *50 lbs. = 850 cu. Inches 1 lb. Waterplug will fill an opening approximately 1.45 ft. long by 1″ wide and 1″ deep.
PRECAUTIONS 1) The setting time of Waterplug will vary according to ambient and surface temperatures. To hasten set time, use heated mixing water. 2) The dry powder material may also be heated up to 100°F. Cool water or ice should be used to prevent extremely rapid set. 3) Do not add any other cements or aggregates to Waterplug. Do not retemper material.
