USES
1) CG2 Colored Grout can be used in grout joints that are 1 – 10mm wide.
2) CG2 Colored Grout can be used on internal or external wall and floor grouting applications.
3) CG2 Colored Grout can also be used in swimming pools and wet areas.
SURFACE PREPARATION
1) Before commencing grouting, ensure the tile adhesive has set firmly.
2) This usually requires 24 hours with the majority of tile adhesives.
3) Remove any spacer lugs, rake-out any excess adhesive and any loose or foreign material from the grout joints.
4) In general, ensure the grout joints are clean and dry.
MIXING
1) Add CG2 Colored Grout to a bucket of clean water mixing constantly with electric mixer until a thick creamy consistency is achieved.
2) The mixing ratio is 25kg of CG2 Coloured Grout to approximately 5~5.5 liters of water.
3) Allow the mixture to stand for 10 minutes, remix, and then use the adhesive.
APPLICATION
1) Prior to grouting it is advisable to lightly dampen the grout joints, particularly with porous tiles or in warmer conditions.
2) Using a rubber float or squeegee work the grout into the joints in a diagonal motion making sure that the grout does not just sit on top of the joint i.e. the grout does not bridge the joint.
3) Remove excess grout from the surface of the tiles with the rubber float or squeegee using a diagonal motion.
4) Use a damp sponge to clean up the remainder of the grout.
Regularly rinsing the sponge out to assist in cleaning.
5) Finally remove any excess moisture from the grout joints, to avoid discoloration or color variation problems.
6) Allow the grout to cure for 24 hours before cleaning the grout haze with a soft dry cloth.
PRECAUTIONS
1) Do not apply CG2 Colored Grout in temperatures above 40℃or below 5℃.
2) Cleaning or discoloration problems can occur with either textured, porous or natural stone tiles.
3) Due to CG2 Colored Grout containing sand, scratching may occur with polished or soft glazed tiles.
4) Do not apply CG2 Colored Grout in movement joints.
5) Do not apply neat or strong acids on CG2 Colored Grout.
6) For other uses or the use of CG2 Colored Grout in situations not mentioned in these instructions, contact our state office.
7) Being cement based, CG2 Colored Grout in nature, which can cause dermatitis. Thus when using CG2 Colored Grout it is recommended that applicators must wear PVC or similar gloves and safety goggles.
8.) To help reduce the likelihood of efflorescence formation (white salts), use the minimum amount of wash water and do not exceed the recommended volume of mixing water.

This guarantee does not cover issues beyond the control of the manufacturer such as efflorescence, shade variations, variable application techniques and extreme environmental conditions.
CLEAN UP
1) Remove any excess Grout from the face of the tiles with a damp cloth, while the adhesive is still wet.
2) Clean tools and equipment with water before the adhesive dries.
