APPLICATION
1) Use product on dry substrates when both air and surface temperatures are above 35°F (2°C). Surface temperatures must remain above 35°F (2°C) for 4 hours after applying.
2) Stir paint occasionally. Intermix containers of the same product to ensure color and sheen uniformity.
3) On semi-smooth surfaces, use a high quality 3/8 -1/2” nap roller cover, nylon/polyester brush or an airless sprayer (.015 – .021″ spray tip, 60 mesh filter). On rough surfaces, use a high quality 3/4-1” nap roller cover.
4) Typical coverage is 250-400 sq. ft. (23-37 m2) per gallon depending on surface texture, porosity and application method.
5) No thinning is usually required. If necessary, thin with up to 1/4 pint (118 mL) of water per U.S. gallon (3.78L) of paint. However, if using a sprayer, thin with water at a rate of no more than 1/2 pint (236 mL) per gallon.
6) More than one topcoat may be required for complete hide.
DRY TIME
1) Dries to the touch in 2 hours at 77°F (25°C) and 50% humidity. Allow at least 4 hours of dry time between coats.
2) Dries to the touch in 4 hours at 35°F (2°C) to 45°F (7°C) and 50% humidity. Allow at least 8 hours of dry time between coats.
3) On heavy stains and woods that contain tannins, allow 12-16 hours of dry time between coats.
4) Longer dry time required in cooler temperatures and in higher humidity.
5) Darker colors may require additional dry time between coats.
6) After 2-4 weeks, cured paint film may be cleaned with a mild, non-abrasive liquid detergent.
7) Dry paint film is mildew resistant.
CLEAN UP & STORAGE
1) Use soap and water.
2) Properly dispose of all soiled rags and protect unused product from freezing.
